I met Jill at the age of 9 when my family moved to the Island and i started school in Totland.  I think it was nearly two years later Jill and her family moved to Ireland . Jill would write to me regularly very lengthy letters and i would ( eventually) reply. She was much better at keeping in touch than me. We wrote  to one another keeping up to date with news but we never met in person from 1966 untill 1978 when she moved back to the Island... She was always a true constant friend , and i will miss her dearly
